What does the Year of the Dragon hold for the Philippine IT-BPO & GIC industry? 2012 is a critical year for the industry. Demand for non-voice, complex services is expected to gather increased momentum, while voice services continue to grow. While substantial gains were achieved in 2011 in improving talent supply, strategically much work remains to be done on many levels: industry brand visibility, educational infrastructure, and generating funding for programs to address these potential hurdles to growth.

How will the industry address these issues? What support from government can be expected? Is the academe reconfiguring curricula to provide graduates with the skills the industry requires? Are investors aware that the Philippines is also a key provider of non-voice, complex services?

The Business Processing Association of the Philippines and Outsource2Philippines are pleased to announce that their first CEO Briefing of the year—“The Philippine IT-BPO Industry in the Year of the Dragon” will address the talent challenge as industry grows and expands, and what the future holds.

Presentation of the results of the first BPAP-O2P quarterly survey of the year will provide a backdrop for the briefing. This expanded survey provides a valuable examination of executive sentiment for the year. As is customary, the CEO Forum will feature presentations and discussions led by respected IT-BPO executives, expert analysts, and ranking representatives of the academe and government. Presentations will provide information not previously released publicly. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with speakers and panelists.

The CEO Forum will take place March 15, 2012 from 7:00 am to 11:00 am at the Tower Club.

While we accept a modest delegate fee to cover expenses, the meeting is by invitation only and is designed specifically for C-level executives—decision makers like you. We encourage you to register early for this opportunity since seats are limited.
