To show its commitment to environmental sustainability, LCF is undertaking LCF CSR Expo 2010 as a green conference. The organizers will exert efforts to ensure that the amount of waste generated is kept to a minimum, that the items used during the course of the meeting are of recycled content, and that the waste generated is recycled or reused to the maximum extent possible.
Green conferencing ideas will be applied to the conference as well as the exhibition, such as adopting a paperless format; encouraging online registration, networking and conference evaluation; inviting participants to compute their individual carbon footprints, encouraging car pooling and reducing food and beverage wastage, to name a few. Daily tips on green ideas will be posted on the conference website.
