Global Steel affirms commercial operations; focus on CRC line
Oct 12, 2005
(Manila, Philippines) - Global Steel Philippines today announced that its hot rolled coil (HRC) and cold rolled coil (CRC) lines are in commercial operation.
Global Steel corporate communications head Sangram Mohanty said the lines are fully operational, but that the company is prioritizing CRC production in response to local demand. “Production is focused on CRC lines in view of domestic market requirements. The HRC line however, has been commissioned and its production capacity has already been established internally,” Mohanty said.
Global Steel Philippines supplies the domestic and regional market with hot rolled plates, hot rolled coils, cold rolled full hard coils, and cold rolled annealed coils.
