Global Steel Philippines receives shipments of imported steel slabs - Photo Release

Global Steel Philippines, Inc., the country’s largest steel manufacturer, today announced the arrival of shipments of imported steel slabs from China, India and Russia. A ship recently arrived in Iligan carrying 20,000 MT steel slabs from Russia. A total of 46,800 MT of steel slabs were also delivered by two ships from China while another 19,660 MT came from India. Company executives said this is the first time that four ships have in close succession unloaded slabs at its Iligan pier.
