e-Services Philippines (ESP) is organized annually
by the Department of Trade e-Services Philippines (ESP) is organized
annually by the Department of Trade and Industry through its investments
promotion arm, the Center for International Trade Expositions and
Missions, to showcase the country's best and brightest in medical
transcription, animation, software development, business process
outsourcing (BPO), engineering design and contact center services.
TeamAsia has served as the event's media partner
for the past four years. TeamAsia has played an instrumental role
in developing awareness and recall for ESP and the Philippines as
a center for investment in IT and IT-enabled services (ITES) in
a number of ways:
· Consistently communicating Brand Philippines
as a major global IT and ITES hub;
· Establishing ESP as a venue for industry stakeholders to
examine and discuss industry
trends and best practices;
· Creating an attractive image of ESP as a venue for global
and local experts to share
their insights; and,
· Communicating ESP as a unique networking and business development
opportunity for
participants.
From a local trade show with less than 50 exhibitors in 2000, the
annual ESP has more than doubled to over 100 IT and ITES product
supplier and service provider exhibitors. Over 2,000 local and international
trade visitors attend annually. International interest in the annual
conference and exhibition has also generated support of prestigious
outsourcing industry associations, including The Business Processing
Association of the Philippines (BPA/P) and The National Association
of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM). It has likewise become
the top-of-mind event for investors and organizations intent on
developing outsourcing relationships with premier ITES providers
with operations in the Philippines.
The 2006 media campaign generated more than $106,062 in print and
broadcast coverage locally and internationally, and played an important
role in projecting the Philippines as one of two global hubs for
IT and ITES investment.
