Chad Carlson to Join StarTek as Executive Vice President and COO

Manila, Philippines – StarTek, a high-value customer care service provider with sites in Makati and Ortigas has announced that Chad Carlson will be joining the company as executive vice president (EVP) and chief operating officer (COO) in June.

“Chad is an experienced senior leader of global BPO organizations with over 15 years of experience in the industry,” said StarTek president and chief operating officer Larry Jones. “He has expertise in global operations and is focused on continuous improvement, growing client relationships and building a top performance leadership team. All reasons why we were glad he accepted our offer to join StarTek.”

In 1995, Carlson started his call center career with a business process outsourcing (BPO) company, where he served different roles until he became vice president and general manager for its Americas operations. Carlson worked as COO for the Americas and Asia Pacific operations for another competitor and oversaw six countries with more than 10,000 employees and increased revenues to $450 million.

Prior to joining StarTek, Carlson was executive vice president for global operations for the same company where he managed 60,000 employees in 30 countries with more than a billion dollars in revenue.
