SM Foundation, Inc. (SMFI), the socio-civic arm of the SM Group of Companies, again fulfilled its commitment of “People Helping People” by spearheading relief operations, a medical mission, and feeding program for an estimated 2,000 evacuees from typhoon-hit Tacloban City who arrived at the Villamor Airbase in Pasay City on November 14 and 15. “SM Foundation feels for the victims of this calamity and we want to provide them with food, medical care and basic goods to give them comfort in this very difficult time,” says Debbie Sy, Executive Director of SMFI.
