The passionate people behind TeamAsia.

Integrated marketing communications agency TeamAsia started 2018 with a bang, winning four awards for the first half of the year from the prestigious 16th Philippine Quill Awards and the regional Event Marketing Awards Asia Pacific by CEI and Campaign.

“Winning these awards affirms TeamAsia’s commitment to our LIVE philosophy—to constantly deliver next level experiences for our clients, employees, and communities. It goes beyond a client first, employee first, and a community first philosophy; it is the integration of all three,” said Bea Lim, Managing Director.

Since its inception, TeamAsia has been empowering their local and international clients, helping establish the presence of these global brands and drive the growth of these national companies, industries, and advocacies. Rooted in nation-building and influenced by a global mindset, TeamAsia is shaping the Philippine business landscape. This deep vision and broad perspective on marketing brands was developed through the agency’s passion for people, communities, and industries.

TA Awards 1

Passion for people. TeamAsia’s annual year-long employee engagement initiative called Pop Up was specifically designed in 2017 to commemorate the agency’s silver year with the theme Driven by Passion. Monthly, its employees were treated to surprises that celebrate their passions, hard work, and achievements, granting TeamAsia the Quill Award for Excellence for Employee Relations.

TA Awards 2

Passion for communities. With national development at the heart of its mission, TeamAsia partnered with the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) in spearheading its educational campaign My Dream in a Shoebox. For the campaign’s ninth iteration, TeamAsia engaged its employees and corporate partners in equipping more than 80,000 underprivileged children across the Philippines with school supplies, earning them a Quill Award of Merit for Corporate Social Responsibility.

TA Awards 4

Passion for industries. The spirit of nationalism and collaboration within TeamAsia is reflected in the work it builds for the industries that it supports, particularly information technology and business process management (IT-BPM). TeamAsia’s integrated marketing communications campaign for the IBPAP’s 9th International IT-BPM Summit fueled discussions and steered actions towards addressing the challenges and opportunities that emerging technologies pose upon its continued growth. The campaign successfully gathered key decision makers to collaborate in sustaining the industry’s strength as a major economic driver in the Philippines, deeming it worthy of a Quill Award of Excellence for Community Relations and a Bronze Event Marketing Award for Best Corporate Event.

Spearheading the agency is Monette Iturralde-Hamlin—award-winning in her own right—lauded in 2018 by CMO Asia’s Philippines Women Leadership Awards for her exemplary influence in shaping TeamAsia to be a preferred employer that hones and produces outstanding talent, and by the ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network for being an outstanding woman entrepreneur. In 2016, she received the CEO Excel Award from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
